Download Intel Processor Identification Utility and verify under the CPU Technologies tab if Intel Virtualization Technology and Intel VT-x with Extended Page Tables are enabled. If they aren’t, follow the next steps; otherwise, skip them.

Verify if the virtualization options are enable in BIOS, under the Processor tab. If they aren’t, enable them.

In Settings, go to Apps. Maximize your window, click on Programs and Features and then on Turn Windows features on or off. Disable the Hyper-V feature.
- Open the Local Policy Group Editor; to do so, open Run (Windows + R)
and enter the command
gpedit.msc
. Then, in the path Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System > Device Guard, edit the Turn On Virtualization Based Security policy and disable it.
- Open the Registry Editor; to do so, open Run (Windows + R) and enter
the command
regedit
. Then:- In the
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\DeviceGuard
path, delete the EnableVirtualizationBasedSecurity and RequirePlatformSecurityFeatures keys. - In the
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa
path, delete the LsaCfgFlags key. - In the
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\DeviceGuard
path, delete the EnableVirtualizationBasedSecurity and HVCIMATRequired paths.

Restart your computer.

Launch the Intel Processor Identification Utility one more time and verify that now that Intel Virtualization Technology and Intel VT-x with Extended Page Tables are enabled.
